Science Education Master's Student Sıla Başaran's TUBITAK 2209 Project: Science Education with Creative Drama in the Ancient City of Troy

Under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Ganime AYDIN from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Education, graduate student Sıla BAŞARAN successfully implemented the "Science Education with Creative Drama in the Ancient City of Troy" project on Saturday, April 27. This project, funded by TÜBİTAK 2209, involved 20 8th grade students from Fatma Şemsettin Çamoğlu Secondary School.

The project aimed to enhance students' awareness of science concepts and cultural heritage through games and drama at the Troy Museum, following an informative session about the ancient city of Troy led by guide Mustafa Aşkın. Participants expressed satisfaction with the activities and suggested organizing similar initiatives in the future. Such projects are noted for adding a unique dimension to student education and boosting learning motivation.
