Under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Ganime AYDIN from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Education, senior student Dilara ERDEM is conducting a study titled "Why Practice Schools are Necessary within Faculties of Education?" as part of the TÜBİTAK 2209 project. This research investigates the importance of practice schools in developing the professional competencies of prospective teachers. Data is being collected from 4th-year pre-service teachers enrolled in Science and Elementary Mathematics teaching programs across Turkey using scales developed within the study.

This research aims to contribute to the professional development of pre-service teachers, enhance the understanding of quality education, and strengthen cooperation and practices between faculties of education and practice schools.
