Program Objective

The primary objective of the Science Education Program is to train qualified science teachers who:

• Have mastery of biology, physics, and chemistry topics covered in middle school science courses.
• Can use information and communication technologies in science education.
• Possess knowledge and skills in laboratory experiment applications.
• Can organize and implement projects and activities in science and technology within educational and social environments.
• Think creatively and keep up with developments in their field, integrating innovations into the teaching processes.

Required Qualifications

Students who obtain the required score for our Department from the LYS exam and are placed in our Department based on their LYS preferences are accepted for undergraduate studies.

Title and Occupations of Graduates

Students who successfully complete this program are entitled to receive a Bachelor's degree in Science Teaching (Bachelor of Science) and can thus work as Science Teachers.

Employment Opportunities

Graduates of our Department can work as Science Teachers in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, private schools, and various courses.

Program Status

Established in 1998, our Department started accepting students in the 1998-1999 academic year and has been continuously conducting educational activities since then.
